Nia 52 Moves Training is a 2-day somatic experience devoted to learning how to achieve holistic conditioning using Nia 52 Moves. These 52 movements have been distilled through 30 years of somatic exploration to represent the best in holistic body-mind-emotion-spirit conditioning. The movements were inspired by dance arts, martial arts and therapeutic practices.
When practiced in isolation & integrated with systemic movement, Nia 52 Moves are proven to physically condition the body & enhance movement skills. Regularly practiced, they enhance proprioception & perceptual motor skills represented in flexibility, mobility, agility, stability & strength.
This training is ideal for everybody who wants to learn more about how to condition their body & develop movement skills. Beginners as well as advanced movers will find value in this 2-day movement intensive: The course combines lecture with experiential practice & coaching sessions to give each participant personalized support to achieve their fitness goals. During the training, the art of conditioning applies to the body's base, core & upper extremities & you will learn how to move & feel better. The icing on the cake is that you will go home with the ability to teach 2 levels of the Nia MOVE IT class – beginners (learning the moves) and advanced (knowing the moves).
Nia MOVE IT is a 60-minute workout with aerobic, anaerobic, reflexive & voluntary conditioning, where every participant practices conscious personal training to take their fitness to the next level.
